Job summary

Australian Wildlife Conservancy is seeking a Sanctuary Manager for Waulinbakh to oversee land management programs and conservation outcomes. You will coordinate resources, lead staff and engage a diverse set of stakeholders, including scientists, landholders, volunteers and Indigenous communities, to deliver on-ground results aligned with AWC’s science-based strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven practical experience in delivering on-ground results in land management or conservation is essential.
• Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline would be an advantage, but practical experience counts more.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver land management programs and conservation initiatives aligned with science.
• Coordinate projects and budgets, ensuring timely completion within plan and budget.
• Collaborate with science team and field ecologists across the sanctuary.
• Support on-site events, stakeholder engagement, and sanctuary visitor programs.
