Allied Seafreight Logistics is expanding its transport team in Melbourne. We are a family business with over 30 years in wharf cartage, cross docking and 3PL warehousing, focused on exceptional customer service.

We seek a proactive fleet controller to manage daily operations, build driver relationships and coordinate planning to keep our transport ecosystem efficient and responsive. Join a supportive team and grow with us in a dynamic freight environment.

Formación

• Fleet control experience in a similar role (wharf cartage).
• Understanding of wharf transport industry.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Can-do attitude.
• Excellent multitasking and organisational skills and great time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Experience using 1-Stop & container chain platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the fleet on a daily basis.
• Build relationships with drivers.
• Planning for the current and following day.
• Liaising with staff about potential issues and delays.
• Corresponding with clients and wharves / empty container parks via email.
• Ensure records are maintained accurately and promptly in our transport management system.
