Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants for ongoing casual assignments across landscaping, construction, warehouse, shopfitting and more. Immediate start with consistent weekly pay and the potential to secure permanent roles.

You'll be paid $35.11 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and a $22 daily travel allowance, with typical weekly earnings around $1,400+. You must have at least 12 months’ experience, a Construction White Card and a current driver licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up; wheelbarrowing materials; digging and trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials; packing and stacking.
• Assembling products and assisting qualified tradespeople; general labouring duties as required.
• Site-wide tasks across manufacturing and industrial sites; container unloading; site clean-ups.

What You'll Be Doing

• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Hard hat
• Safety glasses
• Work gloves
• High-visibility clothing
