Job summary

Kent is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for Shell's QGC project in the Surat Basin. The role is suitable for local residents or those based in Brisbane, with a 15 days on/13 days off, 10 hours per day roster. You will contribute to heavy industry tasks and join a long-standing, energy-focused team.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Trade qualification and White Card, plus strong computing skills and familiarity with CMMS systems like Maximo.

• Mechanical trade qualification and White Card required.
• Strong computing skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS (Maximo).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and follow standards.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Trade qualification and a White Card, supported by strong computing skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems such as Maximo. You will demonstrate a sound understanding of industry standards and functional assurance processes and be capable of constructively challenging and negotiating with peers, partners and contractors to drive improvements.
