Job summary

Y Schools Queensland Wellbeing Services seeks a Wellbeing Case Worker for a 12-month fixed-term, part-time role (4 days/week) based in Mango Hill, commencing Jan 2027. The role focuses on assessments, personalised support, and program design to boost student wellbeing and education engagement.

The successful candidate will work with teachers to develop Personal Education Plans and deliver early intervention programs, fostering resilience and a positive school experience for vulnerable young

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work or behavioural science with relevant experience.
• Experience supporting vulnerable young people and coordinating plans.
• Proficiency with office software including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored assessments and support to individual students and families.
• Design programs addressing emotional or social challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers to create Personal Education Plans.
• Deliver preventative and early intervention group programs.
• Support staff with strategies to help students engage and succeed.
