Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking a Well Engineer in Western Australia to independently support well proposals, design bases and the daily operations surveillance in challenging offshore and onshore environments.

The role requires 5+ years of multi-discipline well-site experience, strong planning and communication skills, and familiarity with Well deployment modelling software. Excellent safety and teamwork are essential in this critical role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multi-discipline well-site operations.
• Degree in STEM or Petroleum Engineering.
• Experience in Wireline, Cementing or Coiled Tubing operations.
• Strong technical plan writing skills.
• Able to problem solve in dynamic environments.
• Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Well Deployment Modelling software (i.e Wellplan, Cerberus).
• Well Control certification (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Prepare well proposals and Basis of Design under direct supervision.
• Provide Operation Plans and prepares Programs and ensure technical integrity of Operations planning and execution.
• Oversee day-to-day surveillance of operations.
• Create Approval for Expenditure (AFE) and perform cost control of operations.
• Participate in risk assessments, forecast needs and plan medium/long term needs.
• Prepare equipment lists and identify long lead items.
• Ensure proper communication within the project.
• Perform engineering studies to solve recurring problems.
• Prepare End-of-Well reports and contribute to knowledge management.

Job Duties
