Job summary

Fourever Steel & Corten in Romsey, VIC seeks a Welder / Fabricator – Steel Edging & Installation for a full-time, on-site role. You will weld, fabricate and install steel edging products, ensuring high quality workmanship and client satisfaction on a range of residential, commercial and civil projects.

Responsibilities include welding with MIG, TIG and stick processes, reading drawings, using cutting and finishing methods, and installing completed edging at client sites.

Qualifications

• Recognised welding qualifications or certification.
• Experience in steel fabrication and welding, preferably edging or similar products.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG and stick welding.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with on-site installation of steel products.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations on steel components to ensure strong joints that meet specifications.
• Prepare materials and work areas including cutting, grinding and finishing steel pieces.
• Install finished steel edging products at client sites with proper alignment and fastening.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and hand tools safely.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow.
