Job summary

RCR Mining Technologies is seeking an experienced Welding & Coating QA/QC Coordinator to join our Bunbury team. Reporting to the Senior Coordinator, the role coordinates the Welding & Coating section of the manufacturing department, overseeing quality processes and documentation to ensure compliance.

You will review ITPs, MDRs, and work packs, manage inspections and drive corrective actions using the SAI360 system.

Qualifications

• Trade or Engineering qualification required.
• Welding Supervisor and/or Welding Inspector certification required.
• 5 years’ QA/QC experience in fabrication/mining or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, inspection, and NDT requirements.
• Experience interpreting Australian Standards.
• Coating inspection qualifications are desirable.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Welding & Coating section of the manufacturing department and oversee QA/QC processes.
• Review and maintain ITPs, MDRs, Work Packs and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with the RCR Quality System, project standards and procedures.
• Issue inspection release certificates when quality requirements are met.
• Assess vendors to ensure adherence to RCR quality requirements.
• Utilise the SAI360 system to drive corrective actions and improvements.
