Krueger Transport Equipment is seeking experienced Welders for full-time roles at our Truganina, VIC site. You will perform MIG welding and fabrication for heavy transport equipment, read engineering drawings, and maintain safety and quality across all tasks.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Welder in manufacturing, fabrication or similar.
• Demonstrated MIG welding experience.
• Experience with steel fabrication and welded assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to operate welding equipment and workshop tools safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Welding or fabrication qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.

About the Role

As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabrication activities associated with the manufacture and assembly of heavy transport equipment and components.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform MIG welding and fabrication to required specifications.

• Weld and assemble steel components used in heavy transport equipment.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.

• Prepare materials and components for welding and assembly.

• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working as a Welder in a manufacturing, fabrication or similar environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Ability to safely operate welding equipment and relevant workshop tools.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
