Haynes People currently have multiple positions available for experienced 2nd Class Welders with our valued client in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. This casual ongoing role offers a supportive team environment, hands-on work, and potential to transition into a permanent position.

Hours are Mon-Thu 7:00am–3:00pm and Fri 7:00am–1:00pm, with pay rate of $46-$52/hr plus penalties depending on qualifications and experience. Safety and quality compliance are emphasised across the workshop.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a 2nd Class Welder.
• Current Driver's Licence (Manual Licence preferred).
• Experience with MIG, TIG and Stick welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong fabrication and workshop experience.
• Forklift Licence and Construction White Card highly regarded.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen.

Responsabilités

• Perform welding using MIG, TIG and Stick welding processes.
• Fabricate, assemble and repair metal components and structures.
• Work from engineering drawings, fabrication plans and work orders.
• Weld and fabricate mild steel, stainless steel and other materials as required.
• Operate workshop equipment including grinders, drills and cutting tools.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections on completed work.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
• Work collaboratively with production and workshop teams to achieve project deadlines.
• Adhere to all workplace health, safety and quality requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
