Job summary

Australis Fabrications Pty Ltd on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced installer who takes pride in quality workmanship. You will install our custom-fabricated products across the Sunshine Coast with welding and workshop support.

This role requires reading drawings, solving on-site challenges and delivering a high-quality finish. Strong installation experience is prioritized, with MIG/TIG welding skills complementing your work on site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fabrication and welding experience
• Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and general steel fabrication
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Familiarity with fabrication equipment and modern techniques
• 1+ years experience of installations or working on building sites

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site installation of fabricated products across the Sunshine Coast.
• Read and interpret shop drawings to ensure accurate positioning, alignment and fit.
• Complete installations safely and efficiently, with strong attention to detail.
• Resolve installation challenges and communicate effectively with the team, builders and customers.
• Work independently when required and collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.
• Assist with workshop preparation, cutting and fabrication as needed.
• Perform MIG/TIG welding as required to support fabrication and installation work.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.

Australis Fabrications Pty Ltd – Chevallum QLD

Are you an experienced installer who takes pride in quality workmanship? Australis Fabrications is looking for a practical, reliable team member to install our custom-fabricated products across the Sunshine Coast.

Installation will be your primary focus, with welding and workshop fabrication forming a supporting part of the role. This position suits someone with strong building site experience who can read drawings, solve problems on site and deliver a high-quality finish.

About the Role

You will install a variety of custom products, including balustrades, handrails, automatic gates, pedestrian access gates, privacy screens, and bin enclosures. You will also assist in the workshop with preparing, fabricating and welding components, predominantly aluminium, along with some steel.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site installation of fabricated products across the Sunshine Coast.
• Read and interpret shop drawings to ensure accurate positioning, alignment and fit.
