Job summary

Kotzur Group, a proudly Australian, family-owned engineering and fabrication business, is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join the Production team in Walla Walla, NSW. This hands-on role focuses on fabricating, welding and finishing Kotzur-manufactured products such as silos, structural components and gantries to high quality standards.

You will read and interpret workshop drawings, operate welding equipment and work safely under WHS requirements alongside a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience welding and fabricating structural steel.
• Ability to read workshop drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Experience welding mild and stainless steel.
• Commitment to WHS and safe work practices.
• Physically able to perform demanding tasks in a workshop.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel to required standards.
• Fabricate and assemble silo-related structures and components.
• Read and interpret drawings and welding symbols.
• Operate and maintain welding machines and equipment safely.
• Inspect welds and finished work for quality and specs.
• Work with others to meet production timelines.
• Take on overtime during busy periods.
