ABOUT THE ROLE

An initial 3-month full-time contract with on-going extensions. General welding and metal fabrication duties for Council assets. Previous Council experience is not mandatory.

DUTIES

• Conduct fabrication and welding of metals for Council assets
• Thorough inspections and perform repairs as required
• Operation of a variety of fabrication equipment
• Collaborating with stakeholders across Council

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong experience in welding and metal fabrication
• Experience with Local Council (not mandatory but highly regarded)
• Experience working within a team (not only self-employed)
• Working knowledge of WHS procedures

REMUNERATION

• Negotiable based on experience.
