Job summary

Northeast Auto Group in Australia is seeking an experienced Welder to join a hands-on workshop team. You will contribute to repairs and the building of heavy vehicle truck bodies across a range of projects, with a focus on quality workmanship and precision.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will interpret assembly drawings, support fabrication tasks, and engage in both standard and complex fit-out work to challenge skilled welders.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Metal Fabrication Engineering (essential).
• Ability to read & interpret assembly drawings (essential).
• Aluminium welding experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and build heavy vehicles truck bodies.
• Involved in all aspects of manufacturing and custom fit outs on heavy vehicles; some basic, others with complex specifications.

About the Role
