Job summary

ResourceCo is hiring a Weighbridge Operator at our Calga, NSW site. You will provide frontline customer service to drivers and customers face-to-face and over the phone, while managing weighbridge procedures and daily cash handling.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to learn waste material types and EPA compliance processes. This is a full-time on-site position with standard daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous weighbridge operation experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
• Demonstrated cash handling and cash balancing experience.
• Sound knowledge of the Waste industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct ticketing, charging and destination of waste received at the depot, and dispatch of outbound materials.
• Inspect loads to check for non-conforming products.
• Understand and comply with the EPA License requirements for the site and EPA waste tracking documentation.
• Ensure visitors and contractors are signed in and inducted.
• Identify incoming waste streams and produce weigh tickets.
• Handle EFTPOS transactions and document tracking.
• Perform other duties as required by the Customer Service Team Leader/Supervisor or Senior Management.
