Job summary

ResourceCo is hiring a Weighbridge Operator at our Mooloolah QLD site to deliver excellent customer service to drivers and customers, face-to-face and by phone. The role is casual, 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, not during wet weather, 9:30am–3:30pm, reporting to the Site Supervisor.

You will manage ticketing, weigh tickets, and cash handling, while ensuring EPA license requirements are followed and waste streams are accurately tracked.

Qualifications

• Previous weighbridge experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated cash handling and cash balancing experience
• Knowledge of the Waste industry (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensuring correct ticketing, charging and destination of waste received at the depot, as well as the dispatching and ticketing of outbound materials
• Inspecting loads to check for any non-conforming products
• Understanding and abiding by the requirements of EPA License relevant to the site
• EPA waste tracking documentation
• Ensuring visitors and contractors are signed in and inducted
• Identifying incoming waste streams and subsequent production of weigh tickets
• Effective cash handling, EFTPOS transactions & document tracking
• Any other duties as required from time to time by the Customer Service Team Leader/Supervisor, and or Senior Management team

Job description

We have an exciting new position available for a passionate and customer focused Weighbridge Operator to join our ResourceCo team at our site in Mooloolah QLD.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will provide customer service in ResourceCo’s weighbridge operation, giving you daily interaction with our drivers and customers both face to face and over the phone.

This position iscasual 6hrs per day 5 days a week not during wet weather 9.30am - 3.30pm.

Your excellent and positive customer service skills both face to face and over the phone, together with strong communication and organisational skills will see you succeed in this role.
Additionally, your ability to learn quickly, especially around all different waste materials along with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively will add further to your success.

You will have key responsibility in:
