Job summary

Cahill Transport in Victoria seeks an experienced MC Driver to join our operations, performing shuttle runs between Barnawartha and Lockwood. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday day shift role, suited to a driver based around Barnawartha or surrounding areas.

You will complete scheduled shuttles, transport freight safely, perform vehicle checks and ensure loads are restrained. A current MC licence and recent MC experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Current MC Driver Licence required.
• Recent MC driving experience.
• Rural, regional or linehaul driving experience preferred.
• Safe and reliable driving history required.
• Sound knowledge of heavy vehicle compliance and load restraint.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled MC shuttle runs between Barnawartha and Lockwood.
• Transport freight safely and efficiently between customer sites.
• Conduct vehicle checks and complete required transport documentation.
• Ensure loads are correctly restrained and transported.
• Comply with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management requirements.
• Provide professional service when dealing with customers.
