Word Of Mouth Agency in Perth, WA is seeking a full-time Web Developer to join our growing team. You will build dynamic web apps with React, integrate headless CMSs, and lead WordPress and Shopify development.

You will translate designs from Figma, implement API integrations, and ensure fast performance with modern tooling such as TypeScript, Tailwind, and modern hosting platforms. Collaboration and ongoing learning are encouraged.

Formación

• Experience as Web Designer or Web Developer with a portfolio.
• Ability to build dynamic web apps using React frameworks.
• Strong understanding of modern front-end technologies and CMS integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop React applications with a focus on performance and accessibility.
• Integrate with headless CMSs (Strapi, Contentful, Sanity).
• Create custom WordPress themes and plugins; implement headless WordPress.
• Build Shopify themes and Liquid templates; work with Shopify Plus.
• Implement API integrations (REST/GraphQL) for data flow.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers.
• Ensure fast loading times and Core Web Vitals compliance.
• Translate designs from Figma to reusable components.
• Manage version control and deployments (Git, Vercel/Netlify).
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to stakeholders.

The Role:

We’re very excited to be looking for a full-time Web Developer to join our growing agency! We’re after a long-term team member who has a immaculate eye. Your duties would include:

• React & Next.js Development - Build dynamic, performant web applications using modern React frameworks
• Headless CMS Integration - Connect front-end applications with headless content management systems (Strapi, Contentful, Sanity)
• WordPress Development - Create custom themes, plugins, and headless WordPress implementations
• Shopify Development - Build custom Shopify themes, liquid templating, and Shopify Plus solutions
• Component-Based Architecture - Develop reusable React components and design systems
• API Integration & Data Fetching - Implement REST and GraphQL APIs for seamless data flow
• Performance Optimisation - Ensure fast loading times, SEO optimisation, and Core Web Vitals compliance
• User Interface (UI) & User Experience (UX) Implementation - Transform designs into pixel-perfect, interactive interfaces
• Figma to Code Translation - Convert design files into functional React components
• Version Control & Deployment - Manage code through Git, deploy via Vercel, Netlify, or similar platforms
• Client Communication & Technical Consultation - Present technical solutions and project updates to stakeholders
• Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with designers, back-end developers, and marketing teams
• Modern Development Workflow - Utilise TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and contemporary development tools
• E-commerce Solutions - Implement shopping cart functionality, payment gateways, and conversion optimisation
• Website Maintenance & Updates - Ongoing support for React applications and CMS-driven websites

We’re Looking For A Candidate With The Following Skills:

• Experience within a Web Designer or Web Developer role with a proven ability and portfolio of work for reference (Examples provided).
