Job summary

SQP HR Recruitment Business Consultants is seeking an experienced Waterproofer for residential projects across Melbourne's North-West and South-West regions, including Geelong. Based at Port Melbourne Depot, you will join a skilled team to ensure projects meet the highest standards and specifications.

Prepare surfaces, apply membranes and coatings, screed shower bases, and communicate with clients and managers.

Qualifications

2–3 years' experience as a Waterproofer or in a similar building trade role; able to screed shower bases.
Certificate III in Waterproofing preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high standards.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
Own reliable Ute or van capable of carrying waterproofing equipment and materials.
Construction Industry White Card.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for waterproofing application.
Apply waterproofing membranes, sealants and coatings in compliance with industry standards.
Screeding shower bases.
Effectively communicate with clients, project managers and other tradespeople.
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
Assist with other general building and construction tasks as required.
