Job summary

Kennards Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Support Manager to run day-to-day operations with autonomy and a supportive team.

You will handle sales, customer service, property management and administrative duties. The role offers coaching, training and a structured development path in a family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or ability to deliver service excellence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a busy retail/storage environment.
• Demonstrates ownership, decision-making and proactive learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and sales to customers.
• Oversee daily operations and administration of the facility.
• Maintain centre presentation, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support property management and team coordination.
• Work in a small team with a 76-hour fortnight roster and 7-day opening schedule.

About the role

An assistant manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations the facility. This includes sales / customer service. Property management and Administrative duties. The great thing is that you are not "stuck" on a chair all day.

In this role you would:

Deliver outstanding customer service and sales, helping customers find the right storage and packaging solutions for their needs.

Keep it constructive, and uphold KSS's FREEDOM values, with the F being for Fun!

Keep the centre presented to a high standard (cleanliness, safety, maintenance)

Manage daily operations and administration

Create the space for change

You’ll thrive if you’re customer outcome focused, passionate about a constructive culture, well organised, take ownership, and enjoy working in small teams.

Hours/roster: 76 per fortnight. We are open 7 days a week
