Job summary

Rokon Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Watercart Operator to support projects across Melbourne. You will operate water carts on site, perform pre-start checks, and follow SOPs while using GPS systems such as Topcon, Leica or Trimble.

The role requires at least 2 years of watercart experience in subdivision settings, a current driver’s licence, and a watercart ticket. A safety-focused, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience operating a watercart in a subdivision setting.
• GPS, Topcon or Trimble experience desirable.
• Safety-focused attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manoeuvre water carts safely around site.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and daily equipment checks.
• Follow and ensure safe operating procedures at all times.
• Using GPS equipment such as Topcon, Leica or Trimble systems.
• Fill and refill water tanks from designated water sources.
• Apply water to roads, haul roads, stockpiles, and work areas for dust suppression.
