Job summary

LMP Project Services is seeking experienced WTP/STP Operators to join our Bowen Basin team in Queensland. You will operate and monitor water treatment and sewage treatment plants, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards on site.

You will work with supervisors and maintenance crews, perform minor maintenance, and maintain thorough records to support reliable plant operations. A safety-first mindset and adherence to procedures are essential.

Qualifications

Certificate III or IV in Water Operations (minimum).
QLD Drivers Licence required.
Standard 11 or equivalent training.
Coal Board Medical.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
Strong focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor water treatment and sewage treatment plant processes.
Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and analysis of water and wastewater systems.
Monitor plant equipment and control systems for optimal performance.
Identify and report operational issues, faults, or equipment defects.
Perform minor maintenance and plant servicing activities.
Maintain accurate operational records and compliance documentation.
Ensure environmental, safety, and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and subcontractors.
