Job summary

Unitywater seeks a Treatment Plant Assistant Operator or Operator to support safe and reliable operation of its sewage treatment and recycled water plants across Kawana, Landsborough and Maleny. This temporary role runs through to August 2027 and provides hands‑on experience in the water industry.

You will work with experienced operators, monitor performance, collect samples, perform routine analyses and assist with basic troubleshooting and reporting, while maintaining a clean and safe site.

• Good time management helps in balancing daily operations with routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily plant operations and maintenance across Kawana, Landsborough and Maleny plants.
• Monitor performance using SCADA, collect samples, undertake routine analysis and support troubleshooting.
• Support data entry and reporting, and help maintain clean, safe, well‑presented sites.
