Job summary

PCP Infrastructure Pty Ltd in Maryborough, QLD, is seeking motivated Plumbers to join civil construction crews delivering water mains and related works across Queensland. You'll read plans, lay pipes, install valves and fittings, and work with plant operators to complete projects safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Construction Industry White Card
• Plumbing licence/qualifications for Civil Plumber positions
• Relevant tickets and qualifications for the position
• Current Australian C Class Driver Licence
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a civil construction crew

Responsibilities

• Installation of water mains, pipework, valves, hydrants and fittings
• Water main connections, cut-ins and tie-ins
• Excavation, trench preparation, bedding, pipe laying and backfilling
• Assisting with pressure testing, flushing, chlorination and commissioning
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and specifications
• Working safely around existing underground and overhead services
• Using hand tools, power tools, lasers and civil construction equipment
• General civil construction and labouring duties
• Working alongside plant operators, supervisors and other trades
• Completing works safely and in accordance with project specifications, SWMS and quality requirements
