Job summary

Highflow Solutions seeks an experienced Civil Water Maintenance Technician to join our Melbourne team, servicing suburban water mains and service connections with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates hold HR Truck Licence, ESV, and related tickets; must be physically capable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in all weather. Immediate start with ongoing opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must hold HR Truck Licence and ESV Ticket.
• Asbestos Handling, Excavator and Traffic Management tickets are required.
• Experience in civil water maintenance and safe work practices essential.

Responsibilities

• Repair burst water mains, leaking services, ferrules, hydrants and valves.
• Carry out excavation, trenching and reinstatement works.
• Fault finding and emergency repair response to water network faults.
• Operate trucks and plant safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Meet maintenance, response and rectification KPIs.

Location: Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs
Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Civil Water Maintenance Technician to join our team servicing Melbourne’s Suburbs. This role involves the repair and maintenance of water mains and water service connections to residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair burst water mains, leaking services, defective ferrules, hydrants, valves, stop taps and associated assets, Repair and or Replace water meters

• Excavation, trenching and reinstatement works
• Fault finding and emergency repair response
• Safe operation of trucks, excavators and associated plant
• Compliance with safety, environmental and industry regulations
• Working overtime when required to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently
• Respond to water network faults within required response timeframes
• Investigate and diagnose faults across the water distribution network

• Perform valve installations and other network maintenance activities
• Complete excavation, backfilling, pavement and bitumen reinstatement works
• Conduct site risk assessments and ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company policies & procedures
• Meet maintenance, response and rectification KPIs.
