Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major water infrastructure projects in Sydney across the full lifecycle—from concept to handover. You will drive delivery of water, wastewater, desalination and recycled water schemes, coordinating engineering, procurement and construction while ensuring safety, quality and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental or related field.
• 10+ years delivering major water, wastewater, desalination or related infra projects.
• Experience across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Strong commercial, contractual and financial management capability.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water, wastewater, recycled water and desalination projects across all phases.
• Manage scope, programme, budget, resources, risks and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary project teams and foster high performance.
• Develop and maintain strong client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee project controls, forecasting and reporting on financial performance.
• Lead risk management, contract administration and commercial activities.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover of water infrastructure assets.
• Drive continuous improvement and sustainable project delivery outcomes.
