Job summary

Ontoit invites applications for an Associate Director - Commercial & Transaction Advisory (Water) to lead major client engagements, shape the growth strategy of the Water & Environment practice, build a robust pipeline and mentor a high‑performing advisory team through complex procurements and negotiations.

Basing in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with a national remit, you will advise asset owners on procurement, transaction strategy and delivery risk while cultivating senior client

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in infrastructure advisory, commercial, transactions or major project delivery roles.
• Demonstrated success leading and winning consulting engagements, including account development, proposals and commercial negotiations.
• Strong experience advising asset owners, government utilities, infrastructure operators and/or contractors.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute growth strategy for Ontoit’s Water & Environment advisory practice.
• Lead major client engagements, deepen strategic client relationships and secure new work.
• Develop a high-performing advisory team and contribute to governance, resourcing and quality.
