Nambucca Valley Council is offering a Water Industry Operations Trainee role as part of the 2027 intake. Over two years you’ll gain hands-on experience in our Water and Sewer team while you complete your Certificate III in Water Industry Operations.

No prior industry experience is required; you’ll learn to operate and maintain water infrastructure, assist with connections, conduct sampling, and work safely with an experienced crew in the scenic Nambucca Valley.

Qualifications

• No experience required, just a great attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must hold a current, valid driver’s licence.
• Effective teamwork and reliable attitude are essential.

Nambucca Valley Council is looking for a motivated Water Industry Operations Trainee to join our Water and Sewer team in 2027.

Over two years, you'll gain real, hands-on experience, work alongside experienced operators and complete your Certificate III in Water Industry Operations.
