Nambucca Valley Council is inviting applications for a Water Industry Operations Trainee as part of the 2027 intake. Over two years, you will gain real hands-on experience and complete your Certificate III in Water Industry Operations, learning from experienced operators.

No prior industry experience is required; you will work outdoors, learn practical skills and contribute to essential water and sewer services.

Nambucca Valley Council is looking for a motivated Water Industry Operations Trainee to join our Water and Sewer team in 2027.

Over two years, you'll gain real, hands-on experience, work alongside experienced operators and complete your Certificate III in Water Industry Operations.

And the best part? You don't need any previous industry experience to get started. What will you be doing? No two days will be quite the same! You'll learn how to:
