Job summary

SA Water is seeking a Field Technician for the Woodside area. The role focuses on construction, maintenance and operational tasks across the Adelaide Hills region, with opportunities to lead investigations and support new projects.

You will work outdoors with a proactive, hands-on approach, hold relevant tickets, and contribute to safe, reliable water services while engaging with the community. On-call shifts and occasional travel are part of the role.

Qualifications

Experience in construction, maintenance and operational tasks on complex water systems.
Truck (MR/HR) tickets desirable.
Driver's license essential.
White Card or willingness to obtain.
Available for on-call roster and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Undertake construction, maintenance, and operational tasks on complex water systems.
Lead water and wastewater investigations, construction, commissioning, laying mains and connections.
Undertake environmental reporting and acquire relevant permits and approvals.
Perform manual handling tasks, working at heights and confined space work.
Deliver excellent customer service and represent SA Water in the community.
Participation in an on-call roster (compensated) & occasional travel (allowances and compensation included).
