Job summary

Lactalis Australia, Harvey Fresh site, is seeking an Environmental Advisor to lead environmental compliance and wastewater operations. You will supervise two WWTP Operators, coordinate with regulators and internal teams, and drive sustainability initiatives to support the site’s licence requirements.

You will report to the Health, Safety & Environment Manager and work in a collaborative, local role with opportunities to influence environmental performance and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science (or equivalent).
• 1–2 years experience in wastewater management or environmental work.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and environmental systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with SAP and environmental reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the WWTP and ensure reliability.
• Ensure compliance with licence conditions and regulatory requirements.
• Identify system improvements and implement procedural changes.
• Manage environmental reporting, data analysis and regulatory submissions.
• Support capital planning and budget adherence and promote sustainability.
