Job summary

CBCity is seeking a hands-on Waste Operations professional to join our team in Canterbury Bankstown. You will operate heavy vehicles, support waste collection and bin delivery services, and help maintain safe everyday operations for our diverse community.

Qualifications

Must hold Class HR Driver Licence and be able to operate heavy rigid vehicles.
Experience with rear load garbage compactors or side loaders is required.
Traffic control certification is required.
Forklift licence is preferred to assist with material handling.

Responsibilities

Operate waste collection, street cleaning and bin delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
Complete domestic, commercial and public bin collections and deliveries.
Respond to dumped rubbish, road spillages and vehicle breakdowns.
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report faults promptly.
Maintain operational records and comply with safety and vehicle standards.
Work independently and with the team to ensure safe daily operations.
