Job summary

Lhr is seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant to move raw and finished goods within the Melbourne warehouse and to various locations on site. You will document, label, palletise and present products to maintain high accuracy and presentation standards.

Key duties include receiving and checking orders, RF scanning, loading/unloading trucks, despatching daily requirements, picking parts/kits, replenishment, stock takes, and daily cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, checking and documenting orders.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Forklift licence with unload/load experience.
• Strong communication and safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check supplier orders; RF scanning where available.
• Load/unload trucks; despatch daily requirements to manufacturing areas.
• Assist with picking parts/kits and daily replenishment.
• Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisor.
• Move materials across facilities; use computer systems.
• Complete daily cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Uphold health and safety standards and maintain high customer service.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant who can efficiently move raw and finished products within our warehouse and to various locations across site. Adhere to accurate documentation, labelling, palletisation and presentation of products.

Despatch

• Assist with the receiving and checking of incoming supplier orders , RF scanning experience an advantage
• Loading / unloading trucks when required
• Despatching of daily requirements to manufacturing work areas
• Assist with the picking of parts/kits
• Assist with daily replenishment throughout the work areas
• Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisor
• Move materials from facilities to work areas
• Use of the computer systems
• Completing daily cycle counts
• Completing stocktake
• Health & Safety compliance in accordance with our company policy
• Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service
• Ad Hoc duties as required

WHS

• Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety guidelines
• Report any hazards, near misses and incidents to Warehouse Manager
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work to multiple deadlines & multi-task
