Job summary

DOUBLE 'D' PRODUCTS AUSTRALIA is seeking a reliable warehouse operator for a varied role across receiving, warehousing, picking/packing and dispatch.

You will unload raw materials, stock, move pallets, supply production areas and load trucks. The ideal candidate is organised, safety-minded and able to work independently or with a team in a busy manufacturing environment. Monday to Friday. Forklift licence advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, stores, dispatch, manufacturing or logistics would be highly regarded.
• Ability to work in a busy manufacturing environment and follow safety protocols.
• Physical fitness for manual handling and active throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Unloading incoming deliveries of raw materials and packaging.
• Checking deliveries and stocking away in correct warehouse locations.
• Moving and organising pallets and stock throughout the warehouse.
• Supplying raw materials and packaging to factory production areas.
• Receiving finished goods from production and putting them away.
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
• Preparing pallets and orders for dispatch.
• Loading finished goods onto trucks.
• Checking stock quantities and assisting with stock control.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse.

Job description

This is a varied, hands-on role covering receiving raw materials, supplying the factory, warehousing finished goods, picking and packing orders, and loading trucks.

Key responsibilities

• Unloading incoming deliveries of raw materials and packaging
• Checking deliveries and putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations
• Moving and organising pallets and stock throughout the warehouse
• Supplying raw materials and packaging to the factory production areas

• Has good attention to detail when picking and checking orders
• Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
• Physically capable of manual handling and being active throughout the day
• Understands the importance of safety when working around forklifts, trucks and machinery
• Previous experience in warehousing, stores, dispatch, manufacturing or logistics would be highly regarded
• Current forklift licence and forklift experience would be an advantage
• Stable Monday-to-Friday work
