The Opportunity

BlueScope Distributionis looking for aWarehouse Team Member (Day Shift)to join thewarehouse teambased inGillman, SA. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team helping keep our warehouse operations running smoothly, making sure our products and solutions are delivered safely and on time. Whether you’ve worked in a trade, retail, manufacturing, or another active role, we’ll give you full training and ongoing support to learn every part of the job; plus opportunities to grow your skills and progress your career.

These full-time, permanent roles offer a competitive weekly rate (pre-tax) starting from$1,130.50(not including loading or allowances), plus superannuation. You’ll also be eligible for overtime, public holiday pay and quarterly bonus. Our operations run5 days a week, with opportunities acrossday and afternoon shifts. Afternoon shift attracts a 15% shift loading allowance.

Shift times include:

• Day shift:6:00am - 2:06pm
• Afternoon shift:2:00pm - 10:06pm

As a valued member of our Gillman team, you will:

• successfully contribute to a safe working environment
• operating machinery to manufacture and customisesteel product
• safely pack and strap our steel products
• performing machinery maintenance and cleaning
• be required to use overhead gantry cranes and drive forklifts
