Job summary

Qube is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily operations at Moorebank. This hands-on role leads the team to achieve targets, maintain safety, quality and efficiency in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will coach staff, monitor workflow, coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, and drive improvements while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in warehouse or distribution environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of warehouse and distribution centre operations.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
• Forklift licence or certification (desirable).

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our operations team at Moorebank. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting a high-performing team within a fast-paced distribution environment. The successful candidate will lead by example, providing guidance and support to warehouse employees while ensuring all tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support warehouse team members to achieve daily operational targets.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and operational procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment and promote safe work practices at all times.
• Train, coach and develop team members to improve performance and capability.
• Assist with receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch activities as required.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practice solutions.
• Complete administrative and reporting requirements accurately and within required timeframes.

About You

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment.
• Proven experience leading or supervising a team.
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others.
• Sound working knowledge of warehouse and distribution centre operations.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and operational compliance.
• Ability to exercise discretion, make decisions and solve problems within the scope of the role.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Current forklift licence (desirable).
