Job summary

Linfox Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to head a fully automated warehouse on the Huntingwood site, NSW. You will manage a small team, ensure safety and KPI achievement, and coordinate inbound processes on the night shift (11:10pm – 7:10am).

Responsibilities include rostering, mentoring staff, and maintaining quality control while liaising with transport partners to meet customer requirements. Prior leadership and SAP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing or logistics leadership.
• Proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook; SAP familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of up to 5 stores staff to meet KPI targets.
• Ensure safety standards and COR requirements are followed.
• Oversee inbound freight movements and quality control.
• Manage rosters and workload to meet customer requirements.

What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and highly efficient Team Leader to look after our fully automated warehouse in Huntingwood. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and motivating your team of up to 5 stores people to deliver operational excellence from all areas of warehouse and distribution including safety, receiving, reporting, inventory management and quality control. This role is a permanent position on the night shift (11:10pm - 7:10am) Key areas:

• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.
• Providing exceptional leadership and direction to staff to ensure KPI’s are met and exceeded
• Managing staff issues including absenteeism and performance levels
• Assist with quality requirements by accurately inspecting and recording all inbound freight movements into the DC
• Controlling staff rosters and workload to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Liaising with transport providers and the greater warehouse team to ensure an accurate and efficient inbound process

• Previous experience in a similar role with in warehousing or logistics
• Proven leadership capabilities including ability to effectively engage a team
• Extensive computer skills – Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge
• Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities
• Exceptional relationship building with customers across all levels
• Understanding of SAP systems
• Current LF Lic (High Reach exp preferred)
