Job summary

P&R Styling is seeking a hands-on, organised Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Australian warehouse in Burleigh Heads, QLD. The role focuses on inventory management, order fulfilment, receiving stock, dispatch, and maintaining high standards across safety and efficiency.

The successful candidate will lead on-floor operations, resolve issues quickly and ensure smooth movement of stock from inbound delivery to customer dispatch.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in warehouse, fulfilment or logistics operations (eCommerce, furniture or homewares preferred).
• Experience supervising or leading a warehouse team.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and order fulfilment.
• Experience with picking, packing, receiving and dispatch processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Experience using inventory, warehouse or order management systems.
• Shopify experience is advantageous.
• Forklift licence is advantageous.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring processes are efficient and high standard.
• Supervise, coordinate and support the warehouse team, allocating daily tasks and workloads.
• Oversee receiving and unloading of inbound stock, ensuring goods are checked and stored correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring all processes are completed efficiently and to a high standard

• Supervise, coordinate and support the warehouse team, including allocating daily tasks and managing workloads

• Oversee the receiving and unloading of inbound stock, ensuring goods are checked, counted and stored correctly

• Manage the picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders accurately and within required timeframes

• Ensure products are handled, stored and packaged appropriately to minimise damage

• Coordinate daily dispatch requirements with courier and freight partners

• Monitor and manage outgoing deliveries, including urgent and last-minute dispatches

• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock movements are correctly recorded

• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stocktakes, investigating and resolving discrepancies

• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised and presented to a high operational standard

• Maintain efficient warehouse layouts and storage systems to maximise available space

• Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes, systems and workflows

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and dispatch processes

• Ensure all workplace health and safety procedures are followed and maintained

• Identify potential warehouse hazards and take appropriate action to maintain a safe working environment

• Coordinate with customer service, operations and management teams to resolve order and stock issues

• Assist with managing damaged, faulty or returned stock

• Support peak trading periods, new product launches and promotional campaigns with effective warehouse planning

• Monitor warehouse KPIs including order accuracy, dispatch times, stock accuracy and productivity

• Take ownership of day-to-day warehouse issues and ensure they are resolved quickly and effectively

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in warehouse, fulfilment or logistics operations, preferably in eCommerce, furniture or homewares

• Previous experience supervising or leading a warehouse team

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and order fulfilment

• Experience with picking, packing, receiving and dispatch processes

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Experience using inventory, warehouse or order management systems

• Shopify experience is advantageous

• Forklift licence is advantageous

• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Confident communicator who can work effectively with warehouse staff, management, couriers and other external partners

• Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical process improvements

• Physically capable of working in a warehouse environment and assisting with manual warehouse tasks when required
