Job summary

Comgroup Supplies Pty Ltd is a Brisbane-based Australian food manufacturer seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse activity on shift. You will oversee receiving, storing, picking and despatch, and coordinate with drivers and freight partners to meet delivery commitments.

You will be responsible for coaching a high-performing team, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring safety and WHS compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years' warehouse experience with at least 1 year in leading hand or supervisory role.
• Current forklift licence (LF) essential; other high-risk licences advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, despatch and transport processes.
• Sound understanding of WHS obligations and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations on shift including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing and despatch.
• Allocate staff and tasks, manage rosters and attendance and train and coach team members to meet daily volumes.
• Lead safety by enforcing PPE and safe work procedures and assist incident investigations.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries and plan loads/despatch with drivers and freight providers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through system transactions, cycle counts and stock rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations on shift, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing and despatch.
• Allocate staff and tasks, manage rosters and attendance, and train, coach and support team members to meet daily volumes and deadlines.
• Lead by example on safety – enforce safe work procedures and PPE, and support incident and hazard investigations.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries and plan daily loads and despatch runs with drivers and third‑party freight providers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through correct system transactions, cycle counts, stocktakes and stock rotation in line with food safety requirements.

You’ll Bring

• 2-3+ years' warehouse or distribution experience, including at least 1 year in a leading hand, team leader or supervisory role, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing or food.
• Current forklift licence (LF) essential; other high-risk work licences an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and despatch and transport processes.
• Sound understanding of WHS obligations, food safety and safe work practices.
• Confident user of warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, with good numeracy and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work across shifts, with occasional overtime during peak periods.

About the Role

Comgroup Supplies is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse activity on shift, ensuring inventory is received, stored, picked and despatched safely, accurately and on time. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this is a hands‑on leadership role and the key link between management and the warehouse floor – turning plans and priorities into daily results.

You will lead the warehouse team on shift, coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with drivers and freight providers, and work closely with Quality, Procurement, Planning, Customer and Production teams to meet delivery commitments, keep stock records accurate and build a safe, productive and accountable team culture.

About You

You're a reliable, hands‑on warehouse leader with experience supervising teams in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment – ideally within FMCG, manufacturing or food. You lead by example on safety, have a sharp eye for detail and stock accuracy, and stay calm under pressure when priorities shift. You communicate clearly with team members, managers, drivers and suppliers, and you're always looking for practical ways to do things better.
