The Star Sydney is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to join our team at the loading dock. You will be responsible for receiving, unloading, picking, and distributing goods to outlets, while ensuring accurate processing and high standards of service across internal and external customers.

This is a physically demanding role that requires energy, reliability and a can-do attitude. You will contribute to a collaborative culture and play a pivotal part in keeping our warehouse operations efficient

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and distribute goods from the warehouse and loading dock to outlets.

• Communicate damages and discrepancies through the proper channels.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Pick, pack and process orders, handling 25,000+ SKUs.

Job description

As a Warehouse Storeperson reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for receiving, unloading, picking, distribution and organisation of goods from the loading dock.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your customer service skills and experience with distribution of goods from the warehouse and loading docks into action.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Ensure effective and efficient receipt and distribution of goods from the warehouse and loading dock to the outlets
• Accept, receive, unload deliveries and distribute supplies
• Ensure all damages and discrepancies are communicated following the correct channels
• Deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders (both internal and external customers)
• Picking, packing and order processing (working with over 25,000 sku’s)

What we are looking for:

• Exposure to working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment (within a warehouse / loading dock) would be highly regarded
• Willing to contribute to a positive, friendly and open culture with exceptional teamwork and initiatives
• Attention to detail and accuracy throughout your shift
• Comfortable using Microsoft office and warehouse management systems for administration tasks when required
• This is a full-time position, requiring availability to work 5 days a week. Flexibility is essential, as the schedule may include shifts across a Monday to Saturday roster

As this is a very physical role, we require someone with energy, enthusiasm, and physical fitness.You will need to possess a ‘can do attitude’, be able to work under pressure to demanding time frames, have high attention to detail and be customer focused.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Warehouse team at The Star.
