Job summary

TradeTools in Queensland is seeking a Full Time store team member to join on an 11-day fortnight roster. You will learn the industrial tool industry from the ground up, with opportunities to move into sales on the floor after training.

The role reports to the Store Manager and involves building supplier and customer relationships, in-store inventory management, stock processing, picking and packing, and displaying items. Competitive base pay plus weekly commission.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, retail, consumer goods or technical fields is advantageous.
• Tool or trade experience welcome but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and share in a fast-paced trade-based environment.

Responsibilities

• In-store inventory management and processing inbound stock.
• Picking and packing outbound stock and assembling items for display.
• Build relationships with suppliers and customers to meet turnover targets.
• Liaise with internal departments and other stores to exceed customer expectations.
• Option to join the sales floor learning the ropes of the trade.
