Job summary

Eagle Sports is seeking a casual store person to join our Melbourne warehouse during the peak season. This role offers 20-30 hours per week with an immediate start through to Christmas, supporting picking, packing and receivals.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, maintain safety and accuracy, and may have opportunities for forklift bonuses if licensed. Applicants should be fit, reliable and hold a current Australian driver’s licence; own transport is preferred.

$34 – $36 per hour- via applicable award rate

Eagle Sports is a national wholesale sporting goods distributor with a warehouse in Dandenong South, VIC. We supply a wide range of different sports equipment, Australia wide.

We are seeking a store person to join our team on casual basis to help us with the peak Christmas period. We are looking for someone for an immediate start to help through to Christmas.

Tasks include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Unpacking of shipping containers
• Receiving, checking in and dealing with incoming goods
• Keeping the warehouse environment safe, clean and tidy
• Any other warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

• Be physically fit and able to lift heavy cartons, as the role does have physically demanding elements
• Have a strong work ethic; somebody who is just happy to get in and get the job done
• Have a current Australian Drivers Licence; preferably with your own transport to and from work. (public transport to the warehouse is not great)
• A forklift license is not necessary, but will definitely get you bonus points.

We normally have a quick phone interview, with strong candidates invited for a warehouse visit.
