Job summary

Glass Outlet, a leading Australian wholesale supplier, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Storeperson in Newcastle to join a friendly team.

You will handle picking and packing orders, receiving goods, and general warehouse tasks, with hours 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Staff discounts on a range of building materials are offered, and training will be provided on commencement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse role within a goods-in/goods-out distribution environment.
• Strong communication skills when interacting with staff and customers.
• Current forklift licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders for trade customers and manage inter-depot transfers.
• Receive incoming goods and handle general warehouse tasks.
• Support day-to-day operations and maintain workplace safety.

Glass Outlet is recognized Australia wide as a leader in the wholesale supply of glass, aluminum fencing, balustrading, aluminum screening, shower screens and accessories.

A full-time position is now available for a Warehouse Storeperson.

Commencing immediately and working as part of a friendly team, you will be involved in all general day-to-day warehouse operations including (but not limited to):

• Picking and packing of orders for trade customers and inter-depot inventory transfers
• Receiving of incoming goods
• General warehouse tasks as required

To be successful in the role, you should possess the following skills:

• Experience in a warehouse role with sound knowledge of the workings of a goods in/goods out distribution business
• Good communication skills having regard to interaction with warehouse/office staff and customers
• Possess a current forklift license
• Enjoy great work-life balance with working hours of 7.30am to 3.30pm (start/finish time subject to discussion), Monday to Friday.
