Job summary

Fontaine Industries Pty is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Storeperson to join our Hallam facility in Victoria. The role supports our national-wide infrastructure with a focus on accuracy, safety and timely order fulfillment.

The successful applicant will have at least 1 year in a warehouse role, hold a current LF forklift license and be able to unload containers. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team are essential traits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse experience or similar role.
• Current forklift license LF is required.
• Ability to unload containers and perform manual handling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and finishing pallets.
• Operate forklift and handling equipment for stock handling and container movement.
• Receive goods, check against documentation and file consignments.
• Unloading containers and putting stock away in proper locations.
• Manage consignments, delivery dockets, and arrange couriers as required.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Perform general warehouse duties and ensure safety compliance.

To support our national-wide infrastructure, we are looking for a full-time Warehouse Storeperson to join us in our Hallam facility. Availability to work on Saturday's is an advantage.

Main Job Tasks:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently, including palletisation and pallet wrapping.
• Forklift and lifting-device operations for the warehouse, including packing and unpacking of full containers and delivery trucks. This includes goods receipting what is received against commercial documents.
• Goods receipting and checking deliveries against documentation
• Container unloading and put-away of stock
• Consignment note and delivery docket management/processing, including courier and freight bookings.
• Conducting regular and ad-hoc stocktakes
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• General warehouse duties including housekeeping and safety compliance

The successful applicant will have:

• Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse role.
• Current forklift license (LF) is required, including a minimum 6 months experience.
• Ability to manually unloading containers. Physical fitness is important.
• PPE (boots and high visibility clothing).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Own car and license is essential.
• Minimum 2 year work reference history.
