The Return and Earn bottle recycling facility in Maitland is looking for casual team members. This hands-on role involves receiving recyclable drink containers from customers, operating a semi-automated sorting machine and troubleshooting equipment issues when required. You will also use a point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process sales/refunds, where attention to detail and integrity are essential. Strong customer service skills, the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, a solid work ethic and ability to perform well in a fast-paced workplace are key to success in this role.
On the job training in using specialised equipment will be provided. A current Forklift Licence is Desirable (Counter Balance). Experience or knowledge of working within a factory environment is also desirable or someone who is willing to work on their feet for a set period of time.
