Job summary

Whif is seeking a Full-time Warehouse Worker – Dispatch Leader in Brendale, Queensland. You will lead the dispatch team, oversee picking, packing and shipping, and ensure every order leaves on time and accurately.

The role includes hands-on warehouse duties across production, warehouse and dispatch and requires a reliable leader who can drive improvements. Ideal candidates have warehouse, manufacturing or logistics leadership experience, a strong focus on quality control, and a practical

Qualifications

• Experience leading, supervising or coordinating a team, preferably in dispatch or fulfilment.
• Proven focus on order accuracy and quality control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a calm, practical approach when issues come up.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to give direction and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support dispatch staff day to day, including allocating tasks and setting daily priorities
• Own dispatch accuracy: make sure orders are picked, packed, labelled and shipped correctly and on time
• Run quality checks on outgoing orders and spot-check team members' work
• Investigate and resolve dispatch problems such as mis-picks, damaged goods, missing items, courier delays and returns
• Find the root cause of recurring errors and put practical fixes in place
• Take ownership of dispatch operations and systems, for example implementing new systems, troubleshooting devices and fixing day-to-day issues
• Liaise with couriers and freight providers to manage pickups, tracking and delivery issues
• Carry out interviews for the dispatch department from time to time, when staffing is required
• Train and onboard new dispatch team members on processes and standards
• Track and report on dispatch performance, including order volumes, error rates and turnaround times
• Plan dispatch resourcing and workflow during peak sales periods and bulk wholesale runs
• Raise stock, process or staffing concerns with management and suggest improvements
• Lead stocktake events
• Assist with production processes
• Conduct quality checks on fill accuracy, label placement and packaging
• Clean and sanitise equipment and workstations between batches
• Handle ethanol and fragrance compounds safely in line with WHS requirements
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receive, unload and store incoming goods and materials
• Maintain inventory records and assist with stocktakes
• Prepare bulk wholesale orders and support peak sales periods
• Build and assemble products, packaging, gift packs and bundles
• Make sure all products meet Whif's presentation standards
• Manage and lead team in ensuring the warehouse is clean, organised and safe, and model good habits for the dispatch team
• Use warehouse machinery, including the forklift (ideally), walk-behind and pallet jack
• Follow all health and safety procedures, and make sure dispatch staff do the same
• Provide great service to internal and external stakeholders
• Support ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Full-time Warehouse Process Worker – DISPATCH LEADER: Join the Whif Team in Brendale, Queensland!

As our Warehouse Worker – Dispatch Leader, you'll work across production, the warehouse and dispatch to picking, packing and organising customer orders. You'll also lead the dispatch area: overseeing the dispatch team, making sure every order goes out accurately and on time, and sorting out any issues that come up. Key Responsibilities

• A forklift licence is preferred
