Job summary

Advanta, an Australian commercial seating manufacturer, is seeking a Store Person to join our Seven Hills warehouse and support NSW production. You will be responsible for receiving, picking, packing and dispatching goods, ensuring accurate inventory, and maintaining a safe, organised workspace.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's licence and forklift licence, be comfortable with computers and warehouse software, have good communication, and a reliable, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• A current driver’s licence is essential.
• A forklift licence is essential.
• Comfortable with computers and happy to learn new software and systems (WMS exposure is a plus, but not essential).
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A customer and team-oriented mindset.
• A strong willingness to learn, contribute to the team, and follow instructions.
• Proactive with a 'can-do' attitude.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Ideally based locally to Seven Hills, and available to work Monday to Thursday 6:30am–3:00pm and Friday 6:30am–1:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Receiving Goods: Coordinate the efficient receipt of goods from suppliers.
• Picking Goods: Pick and prepare stock accurately and on time for production requirements.
• Dispatching Goods: Organise the seamless and accurate shipment of goods.
• Inventory Management: Ensure accurate tracking and management of inventory.
• Ensure orderliness and organisation of the warehouse.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading of trucks and the unloading/loading of containers.
• Support inter-company transfers.
• Ensure efficient order fulfilment processes, including direct involvement in picking and packing.
• Ensure strict compliance with OH&S regulations and company policies.
• Get involved with the team to help implement new warehousing systems and efficiencies as you grow into the role.
