Job summary

S S Hair.Beauty is seeking a full-time Warehouse / Stores Picker Packer to join our Brisbane team. This hands-on role involves receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching stock, with daytime hours and a 38-hour week from Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, a current forklift licence or willingness to train, a valid driver’s licence, and proficiency with MS Office and stock-management software. Physical fitness and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Forklift licence or willingness to undertake forklift training.
• Cert III in Warehousing Operations or willingness to study towards the qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with inventory/stock management software.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• The physical ability to regularly lift and move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Incoming Stock: Receive and accept incoming deliveries; check stock quantities and ensure delivery accuracy; inspect goods for damage; label incoming stock; store stock; track and maintain records of incoming shipments.
• Picking & Stock Management: Pick stock for customer orders and replenish retail showrooms; use barcode scanners to locate and pick stock; maintain organised stock levels; assist with warehouse and showroom stock.
• Outgoing Stock: Receive and process outgoing orders; print and prepare orders for dispatch; accurately pick and pack customer orders; load delivery vehicles safely; track outgoing orders and ensure dispatch.
