Job summary

Manpower requires reliable Warehouse Packaging Operators for a busy food manufacturing and distribution site in Altona North. Day shift, 6:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday, with some weeks 3–4 shifts.

Responsibilities include packaging and labelling accurately, operating in a chilled storage environment with PPE, inspecting products, using RF scanners to verify inventory, and ensuring safety and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, packaging or pick-packing experience.
• Experience in cold storage environments is highly regarded.
• Able to lift up to 15 kg occasionally and 5 kg frequently.
• Comfortable for extended periods in a chilled environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable transport and excellent attendance.
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm.

Warehouse Packaging Operator | Altona North

$34.96 per hour + Super | Weekly Pay
Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 2:00pm

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Packaging Operators to join a busy food manufacturing and distribution operation based in Altona North.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse, packaging, or pick-packing experience who are looking for consistent work within a supportive team environment.

While the majority of weeks will provide 5 days of work, applicants must be available to work Monday to Friday, as some weeks may reduce to 3-4 shifts depending on operational requirements.

About the Role

Working within a chilled food production and warehouse environment, your responsibilities will include:

• Packaging and labelling products accurately and efficiently


• Working in a cold storage environment (all required PPE and protective clothing provided)


• Inspecting products and isolating damaged goods


• Using RF scanners to verify and track inventory


• Meeting daily productivity and quality targets


• Following workplace health and safety procedures


• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations

To Be Successful, You Will Have

• Previous warehouse, packaging or pick-packing experience
