Qualifications

• Previous warehouse pick/pack experience in a 3PL or distribution centre.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual handling across full shifts.
• Experience operating an LLOP or quick to learn the skillset.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to work in freezer and chilled environments.
• Confident use of RF scanning and WMS systems.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.

Established Facility | Casual Roles with Genuine Pathway to Full-Time

Our Acacia Ridge depot is a fully established and operating new DC, and we are continuing to build the team that keeps it running smoothly. Multiple Pick Packer positions are available across our ambient, chiller, freezer, and confectionery/security operations. We are looking for motivated, hard-working people who want to join a busy, high-performing warehouse team.

These are casual positions to begin with, with a genuine commitment to offering pathways to full-time employment as the operation continues to grow. We are ideally seeking people who can commit to approximately 5 days per week, with shift availability varying week to week based on operational requirements.

The Environments

Dry (approx. 25°C+) – Picking and packing customer orders across a range of case and carton sizes in a warehouse environment. Operators use an LLOP (Low Level Order Picker) to move between locations and build orders. This is the most physically demanding stream, involving consistent heavy lifting across a full shift.

Confectionery (approx. 15°C to 18°C) – Picking high-value, tightly controlled stock including confectionery products within a temperature controlled area. Physically the lightest of the four streams.

Chiller (approx. 0°C to 5°C) – Picking short-shelf-life, high-turnover product in a temperature-controlled chilled environment. Think, ready-to-go food items – product that needs to be picked accurately and dispatched quickly. Accuracy and sustained pace are essential; chiller orders have a very low tolerance for pick errors.

Freezer (up to –25°C) – Picking and handling frozen stock in a temperature-controlled freezer environment operating at temperatures as low as –25°C. Operators work inside the freezer throughout their shift, requiring appropriate cold-weather PPE and the ability to maintain pace and accuracy in extreme cold conditions. Careful stock handling, rotation, and consistent productivity are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently to daily productivity targets

Use RF scanning and WMS systems to process and confirm orders accurately

Ensure all orders meet quality and accuracy standards prior to dispatch

Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to support the smooth running of a busy, established operation

Adhere to all WHS requirements and maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

You’ll Bring

Previous warehouse pick/pack experience – 3PL or distribution centre background highly regarded

The physical capacity to perform consistent, repetitive manual handling across a full shift – particularly important for the Ambient stream

Experience operating an LLOP (Low Level Order Picker) or confidence picking up the skillset quickly – required for the Ambient stream

Strong attention to detail and exceptional accuracy – essential across all streams, and particularly critical in the Chiller and Confectionery areas

Willingness and ability to work in a freezer environment (up to –25°C) for the full shift – required for the Freezer stream; appropriate cold-weather PPE is provided

Willingness to work in a chilled environment (approx. 0°C to 5°C) – required for the Chiller stream

Confident use of RF scanning and WMS systems – or a demonstrated ability to pick these up quickly

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety
